My friend and I booked a day trip to Hangzhou from Shanghai by Bullet train (First class seats). It was so much fun on the fast train as it was my first time on the bullet train. The seats are very comfortable and spacious. Our tour guide Bonnie was fantastic. She was so informative and very friendly. We went to one of the most beautiful Buddhist temple " Linying Temple" so peaceful and full of nature. The local lunch was great made by the locals at the green tea farm. The West Lake was very beautiful and the full view of the city and the westlake on the top of the city gof temple was FANTASTIC. It felt so good to be there. We loved everything about this trip and would highly recommend it.

This was our second trip to Shanghai so we wanted to do something a little different. We travelled to Hangzhou during the chinese moon holiday and it was BUSY!!! Our tour guide Bonnie was great helped us stay away from the crowds. And she made everything so much more interesting, with all the extra bits of knowledge she imparted. She was so proud and excited to tell me as much as possible, including dropping little tests into the tour to make sure I was paying attention :-). Extremely glad I got her as my guide. Our guide Jason met us at our hotel lobby ontime and drove to the Shanghai train station for our train to Hangzhou.Hangzhou is a city with a lot of charm, many green areas, ideal to escape one day from the skyscrapers of Shanghai. Our guide was really spectacular. He speaks English very well, very nice and friendly. The whole tour well structured in terms of time and activities. We had a wonderful time and we were very happy that we booked our Hangzhou tour with Hangzhou Private Tour. Our driver Mr Zhang picked us up at our hotel lobby and drove us to the Shanghai train station for our train to Hangzhou. 50 minutes later, we arrived in Hangzhou east train station and met our guide Sharon. She is very efficient and attentive as she has gotten our tour details in advance and double confirmed it with us. When we arrived in Hangzhou, she brought us to our first stop to have breakfast at a local restaurant which was super sumptuous! Sharon is highly informative as she will share with us the history behind the temples and the West lake. The lunch at a local tea farmer's house was the best meal we had in China. Visiting the farmer's homes and meeting the different locals was a wonderful addition to the trip. We were very happy with the wide variety of experiences. I would definitely highly recommend to use Sharon as your guide when you visit Hangzhou! She has made our first trip to Hangzhou memorable.
