Day 1 Shanghai-Huangshan by Bullet Train

Check out from your hotel in the morning. Greet your driver and you will be taken to Shanghai train station to catch your train to Huangshan. Upon arrival, our Huangshan local guide and driver will pick you up at the train station, you will find a welcome sign "Huangshan Private Tour". After a short rest, have a simple lunch at the local restaurant. Then, drive to the Yixian County, where the Hongcun Village located.

Hongcun Village was founded in the Song Dynasty (960-1276). It is one of the first 12 famous historical and cultural villages in China. Hongcun was listed in the world cultural heritage list by UNESCO on November 30, 2000. Hongcun is known as "the village in the painting", a large number of art lovers come here to draw every year. Hongcun Village' s layout was designed very well, acting up to both China's Geomantic Omen and actual natural environment. The whole village is well preserved with more than 140 Huizhou style buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The architecture, culture, history and food here attract a large number of tourists. Famous Oscar-winner film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" were filmed in Hongcun.

In the late afternoon, drive back to the Huangshan downtown. Then, pay a visit to the Tunxi Old Street, it is an ancient commercial street in center of Huangshan Town. The best way to know about Huangshan is to start with Tunxi Old Street. It is a well-preserved ancient and bustling pedestrian commercial street, and also the most well-preserved ancient street in China with the architectural style of the southern song and Ming dynasties. The total length is 1272 meters. The old street consists of more than 300 hui-style buildings built in different periods.

There are many museums in the old street, such as Tunxi Museum, Wanci House, a variety of specialty snacks, such as Smelly mandarin fish, Huangshan pancake. The distinctive huizhou architecture, under our professional guide, you will have endless harvest. All in all, you have plenty of time to explore here.

Day 2 Huangshan-Shanghai by Bullet Train

After breakfast and check out from your hotel. Your exciting Huangshan Mountain adventure tour start.

Firstly, you will be taken to the foot of Huangshan mountain and take a cable car from Yungu station to the top of Huangshan. Mount Huangshan has described as the best mountain of China. It has become magnet for hermits, poets and landscape artists, fascinated by its dramatic mountainous landscape consisting of numerous granitic peaks, many over 1,000 m high, emerging through a perpetual sea of clouds. 

On the way, you'll visit Beginning-to-believe Peak, which is often overwhelmed by the breathtaking scenery. Standing on the peak, you can take in the panoramic views of white horse-headed on White Goose Ridge Cableway and Flower-Scattering Valley. The scenery in and aroud Begin-to-Believe Peak is so amazing that it never disappoints you with its otherwordly charm.

In the afternoon, continue to visit Bright Summit, the second highest peak of Huangshan Mountain with the altitude of 1860 meters. It is located at the center of all peaks, which makes it an ideal location for you to enjoy a panoramic view of Yellow Mountain. In addition, it is also the best place for watching the sunset and the Sea of Clouds. Later, walk along the wood path to the cable station to take a cable car down to Huangshan Mountain. 

After finished sightseeing, drive you back to Huangshan train station and you return to Shanghai. When you arrive, you will be taken back to your Shanghai hotel by your Shanghai driver. End of your Happy Weekend Tour.
